The functionality of our new H.264 Embedded Linux 4-Camera Standalone DVR has just been expanded, permitting remote viewing of cameras using any PDA Phone with xHTML and MJPEG support. This 4-Channel Standalone DVR is now unlike any other Standalone DVR currently on the market. Now you can watch your cameras from anywhere in the world with your PDA phone and standalone DVR. This remote viewing has now been successfully tested with Windows Mobile 5, 6 and Windows Mobile PDA Smartphones, I-Phones and Blackberry PDAs.
With the HTML PDA remote viewing, combined with native DDNS support, you can now install this advanced 4-channel standalone DVR at your home or business, and simply browse to a web page on your PDA phone to get instant remote viewing. Web page access can be configured to update the image every 1 – 30 seconds so that you can customize your video view for your internet speed. This H.264 Standalone DVR even allows you to watch all 4 cameras at once on your PDA.
These PDA remote viewing features have long been available on PC-Based DVRs, but are now also available on our new H.264 line of Standalone DVRs. Now any home or business can allow you to stay in touch with your cameras, not only when you are at a PC, but whenever you have your Iphone, Windows Smartphone or even Blackberry with an internet connection.
