DVR-2649S 9-Channel H.264 Standalone DVR
Expanding our embedded Linux Standalone DVRs, we have now added our 9-Camera DVR-2649S with H.264 video compression and PDA remote viewing. This standalone DVR offers all of the same great features as our 4-channel units, with added inputs to provide recording of up to 9 cameras total.
The DVR-2649S 9-Channel H.264 Standalone DVR provides the same Full D1 resolution recording, Email alerts on Motion detection, Alarm system integration, DDNS support and Internet based remote viewing as our previous 4-channel DVR-2644S. The DVR-2649S standalone DVR adds in the ability to install up to 2 hard drives and 1 internal CD-RW or DVD-RW drive for archiving directly to CD or DVD. Built-in 2 x USB ports provide the ability for archiving video onto a USB Flash Drive, USB Hard Drive or even USB CDRW or DVDRW drives. Video can also be exported to your PC right over the network or even the internet for later playback. No other H.264 standalone DVR in the same price range offers these same features.
PDA remote viewing with H.264 Standalone DVRs
Built-in PDA remote viewing lets you view your cameras over the internet from your PDA phone with xHTML remote viewing right through your phone’s web browser. This remote viewing lets you see up to 4 cameras at once or 1 camera full screen with updates up to every second, allowing you to custom-tailor the update speed to match your internet connection. Now you can use your embedded Standalone DVR and have basic remote viewing from your PDA phone over the internet. Currently tested with Windows Mobile 5, Windows Mobile 6, Windows Mobile Smartphone, Blackberry and even Iphones successfully.
